<h1>Regulation 135 requiring issuers to deposit 1% of issue size with stock exchange has been omitted.</h1> Regulation 135 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, which pertained to the requirement for issuers to deposit a security amount with the designated stock exchange, has been omitted. Previously, it mandated that issuers deposit one percent of the issue size available for public subscription before the subscription list opened. This amount was subject to refund or forfeiture as specified by the Board. The omission was formalized through a notification dated May 17, 2024.
