Amendment to SEBI Regulation 75: Abridged Letter of Offer Requirements Removed for Securities Issue Applications Effective March 2025.
Regulation 75 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, mandates that every application form distributed by an issuer or any other person in relation to a securities issue must be accompanied by a letter of offer. Recent amendments have omitted previous requirements concerning the abridged letter of offer, which previously needed to include specific disclosures as per the Board's specifications and exclude extraneous content. These changes took effect on March 3, 2025, as per the relevant notification.
