of <h1>Informant Rewards Capped: Max Rs. 1 Crore for Income Tax/PBPT Act, Rs. 5 Crores for Black Money/PBPT Act.</h1> If an informant is eligible for a reward under both the Income Tax Informants Reward Scheme 2018 and the Benami Transactions Informants Reward Scheme 2018 based on the same information, the combined reward cannot exceed the higher maximum permissible amount of either scheme. Specifically, for information related to the PBPT Act and the Income Tax Act, the reward is capped at Rs. 1 crore. For information related to the PBPT Act and the Black Money Act, the reward is capped at Rs. 5 crores.
