Maintenance of books of account must be at the place of profession, with exception where separate books are kept. Persons must keep and maintain books of account and other documents at the place where the profession is carried on; where the profession is carried on at multiple places, records are to be kept at the principal place of the profession unless separate books are maintained for each place, in which case those books may be kept at their respective locations.
