of <h1>Form 49A/49AA requires three signatures or thumb impressions, including one across the photo, for valid submission.</h1> The applicant must sign Form 49A/49AA in three specific locations. If unable to sign, a left-hand thumb impression is required, attested by a Magistrate, Notary Public, or Gazetted Officer with an official seal. The first signature or thumb impression should be across the photo on the left side of the form, partially on the photo and the form. The second should be within the designated box on the right side, not on the right-side photo. The third should be in the declaration section within the designated box. Incorrectly signed applications may be rejected.
