of <h1>Advance Rulings Board Established Under Finance Act 2021, Section 245-OB; CBDT Announces Boards in Delhi, Mumbai</h1> The Board for Advance Rulings was established under the Finance Act, 2021, with the insertion of section 245-OB, allowing the Central Government to set up one or more such boards for providing advance rulings from a specified date. Each board comprises two members, both officers of at least the rank of Chief Commissioner. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) announced the formation of these boards in Delhi and Mumbai through notification S.O. 3561(E) on September 1, 2021.
