Reward granting authorities must endeavour to pay the interim reward within a short period after the triggering administrative action: for undisclosed foreign income/assets, from completion of relevant assessments under the Black Money Act; and for undisclosed income/assets under the Income tax Act, from forwarding of the final investigation report by the Investigation Directorate to the Assessing Officer.
