Government servant exclusion precludes reward for information obtained in official duties under benami informant scheme. Government servants are ineligible for rewards under the Benami Transactions Informants Reward Scheme when the information or evidence was obtained in the course of their normal official duties; persons employed by Central or State Governments, Union Territory Governments, nationalized banks, local authorities, public sector undertakings, or corporations set up or owned by those governments fall within this exclusion.
