Advertisement and service of petition notices: non-compliance empowers the Member to dismiss the petition or issue directions. Where a petition has not complied with the advertising or service requirements or directions of the Member or Registrar of Tribunal, the petition shall be placed before the Member on the fixed hearing date for orders, and the Member may dismiss the petition or give further directions to secure compliance.
