<h1>High Court Gains Power to Treat Special Court as Court of Sessions Under Section 67C of LLP Act 2008</h1> Section 67C of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, allows the High Court to exercise powers similar to those conferred by Chapters XXIX and XXX of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. This provision treats a Special Court within the local jurisdiction of the High Court as a Court of Sessions for trying cases. This section was introduced through the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Act, 2021, effective from April 1, 2022.
