of <h1>Partners in LLPs Can Apply for Investigation Under Section 44 with Evidence and Security Deposit as Required.</h1> Section 44 of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, allows partners of a limited liability partnership (LLP) to apply for an investigation. The application must be supported by evidence as required by the Tribunal to demonstrate a valid reason for the investigation. Before appointing an inspector, the Central Government may require the applicants to provide a security deposit, in a prescribed amount, to cover the potential costs of the investigation.
