Power of inspectors to examine related entities, subject to prior Central Government approval and show-cause opportunity. An inspector probing an LLP may investigate and report on associated entities, present or former partners, or designated partners to the extent such inquiry is relevant to the LLP investigation, but the inspector may not investigate or report on those entities or persons without prior approval of the Central Government, which must first give the entity or person a reasonable opportunity to show cause against such approval.
