of <h1>Inspectors Need Central Govt Approval to Investigate LLP-Associated Entities Under Section 46 of LLP Act, 2008</h1> Section 46 of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 grants inspectors appointed by the Central Government the authority to investigate the affairs of entities associated with a limited liability partnership (LLP) if deemed necessary for their investigation. This includes current or former partners or designated partners. However, inspectors must obtain prior approval from the Central Government before investigating these associated entities or individuals. The Central Government must provide the entity or individual a reasonable opportunity to contest the approval before granting it.
