Destruction of records: Registrar may destroy filed physical or electronic documents when done under prescribed rules and procedures. Section 40 authorizes the Registrar to destroy any document filed or registered with him in physical or electronic form, provided such destruction is carried out in accordance with rules prescribed under the statute, thereby regulating the administrative removal of LLP records through rule governed procedures.
