Government power to initiate recovery proceedings where investigation shows public interest fraud or misapplication of partnership assets. Where a report under section 49 indicates that, in the public interest, proceedings should be brought by a limited liability partnership or another investigated entity, the Central Government may itself bring proceedings for recovery of damages arising from fraud, misfeasance or other misconduct connected with promotion, formation or management, or for recovery of property that has been misapplied or wrongfully retained.
