LLPs Must Display Name, Address, Registration Number, and Liability Status on Documents; Non-Compliance Penalty Set at 10,000.
Every limited liability partnership (LLP) must ensure its invoices, official correspondence, and publications include its name, registered office address, registration number, and a statement confirming its limited liability status. If an LLP fails to comply with these requirements, it faces a penalty of ten thousand rupees. This provision was updated by the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Act, 2021, effective from April 1, 2022, which replaced the previous fine range of two thousand to twenty-five thousand rupees.
