of <h1>Initiating Officer Authorized to Conduct Inquiries Except When Section 24(1) Notice Has Been Issued</h1> The Initiating Officer, with prior approval from the Approving Authority, is empowered to conduct inquiries or investigations concerning any person, place, property, assets, documents, books of account, or other relevant matters under the Act. This power excludes situations where a notice under subsection (1) of section 24 has already been issued by the Initiating Officer, in which case the provisions of this section do not apply and are deemed never to have applied.
