Management of confiscated benami property: Administrator empowered to receive, manage and dispose as directed under prescribed conditions. Section 28 authorises an Administrator to receive and manage property subject to a confiscation order under section 27(1) in the manner and on conditions prescribed, and to take measures, as directed by the Central Government, to dispose of property vested in the Central Government under section 27(3), in such manner and subject to such prescribed conditions; the Central Government may notify officers in the Official Gazette to perform Administrator functions.
