Repeal and saving clause preserves actions taken under the benami ordinance by deeming them under the Act. The repeal clause abolishes the Benami Transactions (Prohibition of the Right to Recover Property) Ordinance, 1988. The saving provision preserves actions already done under the repealed Ordinance by deeming them to have been taken under the corresponding provisions of the Act.
