Persons summoned must attend and truthfully respond or produce documents as required. Proceedings are deemed judicial within the meaning of relevant Indian Penal Code sections. Authorities may requisition police or government officers for assistance, and such officers are obligated to comply. 'Reporting entity' includes intermediaries and government authorities as notified, with 'intermediary' defined per the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002.
