Exemption from mandatory QCOs for inputs used in export manufacture, updated through successive public notice amendments. Exemption from mandatory quality control orders (QCOs) applies to goods utilized or consumed in manufacture of export products where such QCO notifications originate from the Ministries and Departments listed in the Appendix; the list names Ministries including Steel, Textiles, Mines, Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Heavy Industries, and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade and records amendments made by successive public notices. The export obligation period for textiles and chemicals/petrochemicals products is regulated separately under the stated export policy provision.
