of <h1>Azo Dyes Testing Exemption Updated: Imports from EU, UK, Japan, and Others Now Exempt in Appendix-2X.</h1> Testing for the presence of Azo Dyes in textiles and textile articles is not required for imports from specified countries, including the European Union, Serbia, Poland, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. This exemption was updated in Public Notice No. 14/2023, replacing the previous list from 2016, which included China but not the United Kingdom. This regulation is part of the Foreign Trade Handbook of Procedures, 2023, under Appendix-2X.
