Azo dye testing exemption: certain-country imports exempted from mandatory testing under Appendix 2X of DGFT Handbook. Testing for the presence of azo dyes in textiles and textile articles is not required for imports originating from European Union countries, Serbia, Poland, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom under Appendix-2X; Public Notice No. 14/2023 substituted the earlier text that had included China.
