Nexus certification under EPCG scheme: Chartered Engineer must certify capital goods' relevance, quantities, process use and wastage. Chartered Engineer must certify on letterhead that identified capital goods are required for specified pre production, production or post production stages for manufacture of export products or rendering services, providing item details, quantities with justification, related export products/services and a step wise process/flow chart; certify reasonableness of claimed installation wastage where applicable; confirm competence; and include place, date, signature, seal, registration number, contact details and registering institution, with each page signed and additional sheets allowable.
