Each office has a designated chairperson and jurisdiction. The CQCTD comprises representatives from various organizations, including the Bureau of Indian Standards and Export Inspection Agency. Complaints can be filed and tracked online, and the committee works with relevant authorities to resolve issues. While this mechanism aims to resolve disputes amicably, it is non-binding, and parties may seek other legal remedies. Disputes solely between Indian or foreign parties are excluded.
