          <h1>Export authorization for repaired SCOMET items requires proof of import, repair contract and an exporter undertaking.</h1> Issuance of authorizations for export of imported SCOMET items after repair requires: proof of import (bill of entry, foreign export license if applicable, or documentary proof/self declaration of exemption); proof of obligation for repair in India (contract, SOW or MSA between the Indian exporter/repair facility and the foreign entity/OEM); and an exporter undertaking identifying the items (SCOMET category/sub category and ECCN), confirming return to the original foreign entity or OEM, asserting no change to original specifications, and affirming repair is permitted by import conditions or contract.
