of <h1>New FTP 2023 Sets Minimum 8% Value Addition for Copper and Petroleum Products Under Advance Authorisations Scheme</h1> Under the Advance Authorisations Scheme in paragraph 4.09 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, specific value addition norms below 15% are outlined for certain products. For copper anode, copper cathode, and copper wire rods manufactured from copper concentrate, the minimum value addition required is 8%. Similarly, for petroleum products covered under specified Standard Input Output Norms (SION) numbers within the 'Chemicals & Allied Products' group, including light, middle, and heavy ends, the minimum value addition is also set at 8%. These norms exclude lubricating oils and certain petrochemical products.
