EOU administrative templates govern approvals for item inclusion, capacity changes, DTA sales, LOP extensions, and exits. Standardized templates provide approvals for EOUs under FTP 2023 covering acceptance of Legal Agreements, inclusion of additional items, broad-banding, capacity enhancement with revised projections, consolidation of goods, DTA sale permissions (advance, periodic, and against forex), LOP renewal/extension, location changes, and in principle/final exit. Approvals require execution/revision of the Appendix 6E Legal Agreement, maintenance of positive NFE/value addition, compliance with Customs/GST/statutory rules, prescribed timelines (e.g., 15 days, 270 days), and copies to Customs authorities, and are issued by the Development Commissioner.
