of <h1>DGFT Updates Exemptions List for Ministries on Quality Control Orders for Export Manufacturing Goods in FTP 2023.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has amended the list of Ministries and Departments whose notifications on mandatory Quality Control Orders (QCOs) are exempted for goods used in manufacturing export products. This amendment, effective immediately, updates Appendix 2Y under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, superseding Public Notice No. 47/2023. The updated list includes the Ministry of Steel, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), and the Ministry of Textiles. This change facilitates the import of inputs by Advance Authorisation holders, Export Oriented Units (EOU), and Special Economic Zones (SEZ).
