This requirement is pursuant to Section 157 of the Companies Act, 2013, and Rule 10A(2) of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rule, 2014. The form has been updated as per the notification dated January 20, 2023, effective from January 23, 2023, replacing the previous version which focused on the intimation of Director Identification Numbers to the Registrar.
