Reporting of modified client codes: stock exchanges must file monthly statements detailing affected transactions and client PANs. Stock exchanges must submit a Monthly Statement and accompanying soft-copy annexure reporting transactions where client codes were modified after registration, including exchange identification and a principal officer's declaration; the annexure must list, by market segment, transaction ID, broker details, original and modified client codes and names, PANs, instrument identifiers, quantity, rate, total value, buy/sale indicator and transaction date.
