of <h1>Dealer's Security Forfeited Under Delhi VAT Act; 15 Days to Rectify Deficiency After Unsatisfactory Response to Notice</h1> The Department of Trade and Taxes, Government of NCT of Delhi, has issued an order for the forfeiture of security under the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. A dealer received a show cause notice regarding the forfeiture or insufficiency of their security. The dealer either failed to respond or provided an unsatisfactory explanation. Consequently, the security is forfeited or deemed insufficient from a specified date. The dealer is instructed to rectify the security deficiency within fifteen days. The order includes a reminder to use the Registration Number/TIN in all communications with the Delhi VAT Department.
