Special adjudicatory fora for securities offences enable expedited trials through notified single-judge courts with specified judicial eligibility. Central Government may, by notification, establish or designate Special Courts comprised of a single judge for speedy trial of securities offences; judges are appointed by the Central Government with the concurrence of the Chief Justice of the relevant High Court and must, immediately before appointment, be serving as a Sessions Judge or an Additional Sessions Judge.
