Regulatory power: National Commission may make regulations with prior Central Government approval to implement the Act. The National Commission may, with prior Central Government approval and by notification, make regulations not inconsistent with the Act to provide for matters necessary or expedient for giving effect to the Act, including provisions for the cost of adjournment of proceedings before consumer fora which a party may be ordered to pay.
