Vacancies or defects in appointment do not invalidate orders, preserving the validity of consumer forum proceedings. Section 29A provides that no act or proceeding of the District Forum, the State Commission or the National Commission shall be invalid solely by reason of any vacancy among its members or any defect in its constitution, thereby preserving the validity of their orders despite such vacancies or defects.
