          <h1>Deployment of armed forces in states expands Union authority over powers, jurisdiction and liabilities during aid to civil power.</h1> The amendment inserts a Union List entry on deployment of armed forces in aid of civil power, defining powers, jurisdiction, privileges and liabilities of personnel while deployed; broadens State List wording to recognise Union-controlled forces and renders police subject to the Union deployment entry; removes State control over administration of justice and other specified entries; and transfers administration of justice, forests, wildlife protection, population control, education and weights and measures to the Concurrent List with specified reservations.
