Powers, privileges and immunities of state legislatures aligned with corresponding national Houses and allowed to evolve by each House. Substitution of clause (3) of Article 194 fixes the powers, privileges and immunities of a State Legislature's House, its members and committees as those in existence at the commencement of the amendment and as may be evolved by that House, and directs alignment, so far as may be, with those of the House of the People where the House is the Legislative Assembly and with those of the Council of States where the House is the Legislative Council.
