of <h1>Article 371-F Amended: Terms Extended by One Year in 42nd Amendment Act, Effective January 3, 1977.</h1> Article 371-F of the Constitution was amended by the Constitution (42nd Amendment) Act, 1976. In clause (c) of this article, the term 'five years' was changed to 'six years,' and the term 'four years' was replaced with 'five years' in two instances. This amendment took effect on January 3, 1977, as per the relevant government notification.
