In clause (2), it replaces the reference to 'provisions of clause (3)' with 'provisions of Article 144-A and of clause (3).' Additionally, clause (3) is modified to include 'Subject to the provisions of Article 144-A' before 'the minimum number.' These amendments took effect on February 1, 1977.
