Term extension of legislative House: duration increased to six years and applies to existing House subject to parliamentary extension power. Amendment increases the term of the House of the People by substituting five years with six years in clause (2) of Article 83; the substitution applies to the House in existence on commencement without prejudice to Parliament's power under the proviso to extend the duration of that House.
