<h1>Regulation 10E defines 'clearing corporation' for commodity derivatives as the exchange itself until a separate entity is formed.</h1> Regulation 10E under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Stock Brokers) Regulations, 1992, specifies that for clearing and settlement of trades in commodity derivatives, the term 'clearing corporation' refers to a commodity derivatives exchange. This definition applies until a separate clearing corporation is established to handle these activities. This provision was inserted by the SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-brokers) (Amendment) Regulations, 2015, effective from September 28, 2015.
