of <h1>Regulation 15A amendment: Directors of stock brokers no longer restricted from acting as sub-brokers since April 2019.</h1> Regulation 15A of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Stock Brokers) Regulations, 1992, initially prohibited directors of stock brokers from acting as sub-brokers to the same stock broker. This provision was introduced through an amendment in 2003 and later omitted by a notification effective from April 1, 2019.
