Liability for mutual funds: non-compliant advertisements or valuations attract regulatory action under applicable provisions of the Act. Liability for action is placed on a mutual fund and/or asset management company under the Act and Regulations where an issued advertisement contravenes the Advertisement Code in the Sixth Schedule or the valuation of securities contravenes the Principles of Fair Valuation in the Eighth Schedule.
