of <h1>SEBI removes Regulation 74 from Mutual Funds Regulations; stops mandatory newspaper publication of suspension/cancellation orders.</h1> Regulation 74 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996, which dealt with the publication of orders of suspension or cancellation, has been omitted by the SEBI (Procedure for Holding Enquiry by Enquiry Officer and Imposing Penalty) Regulations, 2002, effective from September 27, 2002. Previously, it allowed the Board to publish such orders in two newspapers.
