Suspension or cancellation of registration possible where intermediaries fail due diligence, subject to prescribed procedural safeguards. The regulator may initiate suspension or cancellation of registration of an intermediary holding a certificate of registration under the Act for failure to exercise due diligence or comply with obligations under the regulations, provided that no certificate shall be suspended or cancelled unless the procedural requirements applicable to that intermediary are complied with.
