<h1>Mutual Fund Offering Period Limited to 15 Days Under Amended Regulation 34 of SEBI Mutual Funds Regulations.</h1> Regulation 34 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996, stipulates that the offering period for mutual fund schemes, excluding initial equity-linked savings schemes, must not exceed 15 days. This regulation has undergone amendments, including a change from 45 days to 15 days in 2010. A previous provision allowing a 30-day period for schemes under the Rajiv Gandhi Equity Savings Scheme was omitted in 2021.
