Confidentiality of information: RTI section 11 protections apply and the Director General may require non confidential summaries. Confidential information provided under the anti profiteering rules is governed by section 11 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 applied mutatis mutandis; RTI safeguards thus determine disclosure. The Director General of Anti profiteering may require a non confidential summary of such information, and if summarisation is claimed to be impossible the party must submit a statement of reasons to the Director General.
