Attachment of property in custody of courts or public officers must be communicated to preserve the asset until recovery. Where property liable to attachment is in the custody of a court or Public Officer, the proper officer must send the attachment order to that court or officer and request that the property, together with any interest or dividend payable on it, be held until the amount payable is recovered.
