of <h1>Rule 122 on Anti-Profiteering Authority's Composition Omitted from Central GST Rules Effective December 1, 2022.</h1> Rule 122 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, which falls under Chapter XV concerning Anti-Profiteering, outlines the constitution of the Authority. The Authority comprises a Chairman with a rank equivalent to a Secretary to the Government of India and four Technical Members who have served as Commissioners of State or central tax for at least one year or held an equivalent post. These members are nominated by the Council. This provision was omitted effective December 1, 2022, as per a notification issued on November 23, 2022.
