Unlisted Public Company to LLP Conversion: Submit Form 18 Parts A & B, Fee Required as per Rule 40, LLP Rules 2009.
Rule 40 of the Limited Liability Partnership Rules, 2009, outlines the process for converting an unlisted public company into a limited liability partnership (LLP). An application must be submitted using Part A of Form 18, accompanied by a statement of shareholders in Part B of Form 18 and the required fee. Upon conversion, the Registrar will issue a certificate of registration in Form 19. A previous requirement for the LLP to inform the Registrar of Companies about the conversion in Form 14 was removed in 2015.
