Foreign partner certification requirement: certified nominee details and identity documents must accompany LLP incorporation applications for non resident partners. Rule 12 requires a corporate resolution on letterhead naming the individual nominated to act as nominee or nominee & Designated Partner and attached to the LLP incorporation application; for foreign nationals or foreign body corporates the name, address, signature and required proof of identity of the nominee must be duly certified, with sub rule (2) of rule 34 applied mutatis mutandis to govern overseas certification of those particulars.
