These actions can be taken independently or based on information, inspections, inquiries, or investigations. The Board may restrict market access, require the sale of securities, or take other necessary actions. Before or after issuing such directions, the Board must provide the concerned parties a reasonable opportunity to be heard, although interim orders may be followed by a post-decisional hearing.
